Peering through the Crags - Tintagel Castle

The inspiration for this piece was taken from a photograph of the view out from one of the look out posts of the medieval fortification of Tintagel Castle in Northern Cornwall, England. I was drawn to the ruggedness of the stonework which I have aimed to depict using a palette knife and the enticing view out to the deep blue sea.
