The Bridge at the Gardens of Giverny, France

An impressionist painting with acrylics and finished with oils of the beautiful serene Gardens of Giverny - Jardins de Giverny de Monet. Near Paris, France. 

I aimed to capture the vibrancy of this fairytale garden which Monet so lovingly created in the early 20th Century having acquired the land in 1893. Emphasizing the orange and pink tones in order to promote a warm serene feeling to the viewer, with darker touches to offer depth my goal as an artist is to bring as much joy to the viewer as I had creating the piece. 

Today, you can admire ‘Water Lilies’ at Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris and in many museums around the world.
