Nature and Place Inspired Landscape Art

Rachel Goffredo Fine Art showcases an original collection of landscape artworks by independent landscape artist Rachel Goffredo. Rachel is an impressionist painter working mainly in oils, and lovingly paints landscape paintings that portray the atmosphere, beauty, and character of various environments.

Her work is based on how a landscape feels, rather than just being a picture of a landscape. Using colour, texture and composition, Rachel draws inspiration from nature and architecture and locations throughout Europe and Japan to produce artworks that have depth and individuality.

Expressions on the Landscape Paintings – Texture and Depth

Rachel's landscape paintings investigate the interplay of light, colour and nature. Whether it's a scene from the countryside or a view of the coast, or an architectural setting, each piece showcases her fascination with the things that make a place memorable.

A landscape painter, Rachel plays with the layers, movement, and texture that can be achieved with the rich qualities of oil paint. Each painting has been rendered with expressive mark-making, which brings character and atmosphere to each work and allows viewers to experience the emotion and atmosphere behind the work.

The Landscape Art Today is a Contemporary Approach

Rachel's work takes inspiration from nature, but is influenced by her own reaction to landscapes and the environment. Her paintings are a blend of traditional landscape influences and a contemporary artistic approach, resulting in timeless and expressive artworks.

In addition to landscape art, high-quality abstract art has been collected, which conveys the mood, colours and essence of a landscape. Carefully composed and working with texture, Rachel develops paintings that invite the viewer to look beyond the surface.
